Cat & House Visits
Each of our visits lasts up to an hour and are tailored to your pets' needs and personality. For cats and small animals, our visits typically include checking their water, feeding them, scoop their litterbox, a play session and unlimited cwtches. You will benefit from peace of mind with daily updates and photos of your pets whilst you are away and your pets will be able to interact with someone who is reliable and kind to meet their needs
Of course, it doesn't have to be a cat. We are also happy to offer this service to people who have small pets, birds, reptiles and plants that also need to be cared for.
We have an aquarium specialist who can do controlled feedings and help you maintain healthy water parameters in your fresh and salt water tanks

We offer a free Meet & Greet before we start visits so we can meet your pets and discuss what services would best suit your needs.

Lead Training
1to1 Lead Training
Getting your cat to walk on a lead isn't just for dogs. Your cat learning to be calm and moving through an environment on a lead is a great life skill to possess. Cat walking service
This is an exclusive service for cats who are already familiar with walking on a lead or currently in our training program.
Let one of our experienced cat walkers take your cat on an adventure and build their confidence on lead and explore their environment. This is a bespoke service where we will adjust the level of adventure based on your cat's skills on lead and their level of confidence.

Behavioural help
Our behavioural consultation services will give you the tools and knowledge to fix behavioural issues.
This includes advice on aggression, destruction of furniture, unreliable with the litterbox, always hiding, skipping meals, grooming difficulties or simply advice on how to successfully add a new cat to your household.
We want to help you do right by your cat so you can have a happy life in your home with a training plan.

We started this service to allow non dog owners to have access to WalkWagPlay's expertise in caring for all sorts of animals. Our philosophy is "Doing right by your dog" but this applies to doing right by your cat, reptile, Invertebrate, birds, fish, small mammals or plants. We want to give you peace of mind that someone who is reliable, kind and caring will be checking up on them and ensuring their welfare.
Hi, I’m Liz,
I’m a huge animal fan, and I can’t wait to meet yours! Small or big, stick insect to Great Dane, I love each and every species. With 23 years of pet-keeping experience, as well as a professional background in animal husbandry, I’m an expert in all things pet-care!

My passion for animals started with my first pet: a rabbit called Snowy. I absolutely adored him, and he made me fall in love with the animal world - by age 8 I was rehabilitating injured wildlife, and by 16 I’d founded my own pet care service. Through this I’ve looked after a wide variety of domestic species, including cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, and numerous bird & reptile species - amongst many, many more! I’m proud to offer customised care that meets your pet’s individual needs - whether it’s more playtime, hugs, or hygrometer checks, visits will be tailored to each animal’s personality & lifestyle. Time with animals is my happy place, and I’ll make sure my visits are theirs too!

Thanks to my Marine Biology degree, as well as aquatic pet store training, I’m happy to say this also extends to fish! I’m highly experienced in freshwater tank maintenance, and can provide attentive in-home checks - including feeding, cleaning & water parameter testing. With daily updates provided, you can rest assured your finny friends get the 10/10 care they deserve!

For those with feline companions, my specialism is cats, and I offer additional harness training & walking services. Whilst volunteering with Cat Rescue Chippenham, I provided harness training to adopters of indoor cats, creating a way for them to enjoy safe & controlled outdoor access.
I’m currently the owner of two adorable cats of my own, and often harness walk them in Cardiff’s parks - my Bengal has been to Barry Island Beach & climbed Garth Hill too! I believe that outdoor access can greatly enrich the lives of indoor cats, and step-by-step (or rather paw-by-paw!) I can train your furry friend into regular harness walks. I also offer outdoor harness walks for trained cats, helping to keep your cat fit & stimulated when you’re away from home. An explorative cat is a content cat, and I can’t wait to explore the world with yours!

I helped found WalkWagPlay Ltd because I wanted to care for animals and develop a connection with them. I have over 30 years of experience caring for animals thanks to my lifelong interest in studying animal behaviour.
I have done house visits for all kinds of pets and plants including cats, parrots, fish, exotic plants, allotment, chickens, chinchillas and enjoyed it all. I am not afraid of bugs and snakes either. I am happy to learn your care routine so your pet can stay as happy and comfortable as possible.
I also love to take pictures so you can rest assured you will get to see pics of your pets and plants whilst you are away.
